RS Pura, Jan 28: The much awaited Second Annual Sports Day 2019-20 celebrated by Indira Memorial Academy (IMA), R.S.Pura with great zeal and excitement, here.
The sports meet was declared open with the emancipation of balloons by the Chairman, Nitin Mahajan. The chairman in his address, said that the motto of the institution is not only to excel in academics but also to provide a platform for the students to rise to their potential on all fronts - curricular and co-curricular.
The students displayed / presented various sports items on the occasion. The sports items included Running race, Spoon marble race, Frog jumping, Sake race, Balloon bursting, Find the coin, Musical chair, Needle thread, Bucket ball, Eating fast, Hanging balloons etc....
On the occasion, Principal Ekta Mahajan said that the school has excelled in almost all the sphere, be it academic, sports or cultural. She read out the Annual report of students on the achievement in various fields.
As many as 45 medals have been awarded during the occasion. The students who were honoured on the occasion included. Jagvinder, Naresh, Ruhi, Anjali, Ansh, Kanishka, Anuj, Vishal, Kanika, Anurag, Rihaan, Rohit, Dilshan, Sahil, Arti, Ishmeet, Samarth, Ravi, Vipul, Parveen, Abinash, Gagan, Reyansh, Ayush, Khushi, Rahul, Shiwani, Bhumika, Aradhiya, Muskan, Reeya etc.
During the function, Sheetal, Davinder Kour, Sangeeta, Rachna, Neha, Vidhushi, Stenny, Reetu, Kiranjot, Sarista, Neelam and other staff members were also present. |
