JAMMU, Jan 29: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, KK Sharma today said that the grievances being projected by the people are being redressed systematically with special focus on ensuring fast pacing of the developmental initiatives in core sectors and services so that public get benefitted.
The Advisor was interacting scores of deputations who called on him from different districts of the Union Territory for redressal of their grievances.
A deputation from Inderwal raised several issues related to education sector, especially shortage of staff in the schools.
A deputation of Kashmir Young Entrepreneurs raised the demands for having a youth industrial policy, special package in upcoming budget, revival of overseas employment corporation and clarification of the RBI directive for stressed out accounts.
Deputation of subject teachers employed under SAMAGRA called for continuation of their services.
Ex-Legislators, Rajesh Gupta, Charanjeet Singh Khalsa and former chairpersons of corporations, Dr Muhammad Ali Mir (SICOP) and GM Mir (HP&M) also called on the Advisor and raised several issues related to R&B, Education, Industries, and other sectors.
A deputation of Chandigam Pulwama demanded improvement of power infrastructure in their areas.
The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the visiting deputations and assured that all their genuine grievances would be taken at the appropriate quarter for early redressal.
