Srinagar, Jan 29: An emergency meeting of Executive Committee members of GANESH MANDIR PRABANDAK SAMITI, Ganpatyar, Srinagar was held under the chairmanship of H. N. Jatu, President of the Samiti to discuss issue of attempts being made by certain unscrupulous elements to grab the land at Bonigam, Shalimar, Srinagar. The Samiti warns such persons not to venture in such nefarious activities. The President advised the concerned revenue officials to ensure that no parcel of land belonging to Samiti is alienated from the rightful Ownership of the Samiti.
It was also decided to approach different departments and organisations to raise voice against such land grabbers. Also, Development Commissioner, Srinagar who is custodian of migrant property to take note of such illegal activities and prevent such deals which are detrimental to the interests of the Samiti.
