Reasi, Jan 29: Taking note of the news item published in Early Times against encroachment and illegal construction, DC ReasiInduChib constituted a team and directed them to take action against the encroacher in tehsil Pouni of district Reasi.
Sources told Early Times that the team including NaibTehsildar, Tehsildar reached on the spot and initiated demarcation. Locals alleged that revenue officials were involved in the encr achment which can be gauged from the fact that encroachment of took place just 200 meters away from Tehsil Office in Tawi land. Even construction was carried out on the said land but Revenue officials didn’t take action. Locals demanded ACB inquiry in this matter and demanded action in similar issued in the district.
