JAMMU, FEB 12: District Legal Services Authority, DLSA Jammu in collaboration with Health Department today organized free medical camp in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, where 694 Jail inmates were screened and examined by the specialized doctors including Psychiatrist, Physician Specialist, Dermatologists, ENT Specialist, Eye Specialist, Dental Surgeon deputed from Government Medical College. Jammu. Secretary DLSA Jammu, Naushad Ahmed Khan, addressed the jail inmates in which he aware the inmates relating to their fundamental rights, legal aid and other facilities which are to be provided to jail inmates. This free Medical camp was set up with a sacred aim to bring awareness amongst the jail inmates and to provide them health services to their door steps. The necessary medicines were also distributed as per the prescription to the jail inmates by the team DLSA Jammu. Appreciating the efforts by DLSA and Health department, the Superintendent Jail Dinesh Sharma welcomed doctors, Para Medical staff and other office bearers of DLSA. |
