JK Govt enhances OPD ticket in hospitals by 100%

Jammu, Feb 13: The government of Jammu and Kashmir had order for enhancement of OPD tickets across the hospitals in Jammu and Kashmir by 100% with immediate effect.
As per the details available with Early Times, the order with regard to bringing the hospital patient tickets at par was issued by Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department vide order No. 143-JK (HME) of 2020 Dated 10-2-2020 which endorsed by the Director Health Services Jammu vide No. DHSJ/Gen/17845-65 Dated 12-2-2029 directing Medical Superintendent of all the Hospitals in Jammu Division to implement the government decision.
Similar directions were also passed by Director Health Services Kashmir to its subordinate hospitals.
"Sanction is hereby accorded to enhancement of rate of OPD Tickets from existing Rs. 2 and Rs. 5 to Rs. 10 uniformly in all the Instructions of Health & Medical Education Department. This issues with the concurrence of the finance department conveyed vide U.O No. A/35 (2015)-I-1249 Dated 7-1-2020. The revised rates shall come into force with immediate effect" read the order issued by Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department.
