| Toilet complex at Kotla Morh Udhampur locked, commuters suffer | | |  ASHWANI SHARMA

UDHAMPUR, Feb 13: A toilet complex comprising bathroom, ladies room, gents room known as highway toilet or Community Sanitary Complex (CSC) at Kotla Morh, panchayat Rathian East on national highway in Udhampur district which was constructed by Rural Development Department under Swacch Bharat Mission in the year 2019-2020 is in worst condition as it has been locked due to which nobody cares for its maintenance.
Sources informed that there is no water supply while the cleanliness of the complex is in poor state due to the negligence of authorities concerned as a result of which thousands of passengers and passersby including women are unable to use this toilet complex since it is locked.
Sandeep Sharma, a tourist from Punjab told this reporter that he noticed the toilet complex while coming from Patnitop adding that to attend nature’s call he immediately stopped his car to use washroom but it was disappointing when he found the toilet complex locked. |
