Shaurya Education Society distributes stationery items among needy students

Jammu, Feb 13: In an impressive function held at Government Middle School, Boys and Girls, at Nandpur in Miran Sahib zone near here today, Shaurya Education Society distributed stationery items among needy students.
The items, including notebooks and pencils, were distributed among students of the school by Shaurya
Education Society’s chairman Harinder Mahajan (Vicky).
Speaking on the occasion, Mahajan called upon parents to take care of the studies of their children. Romesh Chander, sarpanch of the local panchayat, appreciated the role of Shaurya Education Society for conducting such functions in government schools. He also lauded the society for distributing stationery items among the poor students.
He said that such functions should be held in future too for the benefit of the poor and needy students. Sushma and Sham Lal Pandoh spoke on the importance of holding such functions by the society. Kirtan Singh, president of GGF, and Paramjit Singh, retired Head Master, also spoke on the occasion. Headmistress of the school presented Vote of Thanks. The function, which was appreciated by all, was arranged by Parmod. Refreshment was also served to the participants, parents of the students and the locals who were present on the occasion. The function, among others, was attended by Yog Raj Sharma, Bishan Dass, Banarasi Lal, Paramjit Singh,
Parshotam Mehra, vice-president, OBC cell, Jammu district, Sunil Sharma, Camres David (Babloo), Ved Parkash Bhagat, Yash Paul and Comrade Saroop Singh.
