DPS Nagbani bids farewell to its first batch of class 10th

Jammu, Feb 13: Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu-(West) hosted blessings cum farewell party for the students of class 10th. The seniors received a warm welcome by the juniors as they entered wearing elegant attire. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by R K Verma, Principal of the school along with all the coordinators and senior faculty. The farewell party was organized in the school premises wherein all the seniors and juniors had a lot of fun together. The juniors enthusiastically performed farewell songs creating an ambiance full with emotions. Some exciting games and riddles got everyone involved.
The whole programme was painstakingly arranged by the junior students as they wanted to make this occasion a truly memorable one for their seniors.
The head girl of the school Aarushi Bhat, in her welcome speech expressed the hope that their seniors would do well in the Board exams and be successful in all their future endeavours.
The teachers showered their blessings on the outgoing batch and the students gave heart-warming speeches as they recounted their school experiences in an emotional and nostalgic way.
Principal of the school felicitated the outgoing batch with gifts and mementoes followed by a photo session.
In his motivating and heart touching address, he showered his blessings on the students, wishing them to attain greater heights as they step out of the school to chase their dreams and aspirations.
The day concluded with a snack party. Before the emotional goodbye, students also got the chance to tap their foot on the dance floor with their peers and teachers.
M. K. Ajatshatru Singh Chairman, Kr. Ritu Singh – Trustee, Rajkumari Adhishree Singh–Trustee, Rajkumar Ranvijay Singh–Trustee and Sh. S. S. Sodhi-Director of the school wished them good luck for their board exams.
