Punjabi Sahitik Sabha conducts monthly literary meet

JAMMU, Feb 16: Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura held its monthly literary meeting at Lexicon International Playway School, Tali More, Miran Sahib, Jammu. Dr. Monojit, a senior Punjabi Satire writer & President, Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Jammu presided over the function. S. Amar singh Kuka, senior Ghazal writer and S. Bhupinder Singh Raina, a senior fiction writer were the special guests in the programme. Well known writers, poets of Punjabi and intellectuals attended the meeting.
S. Harjit Singh Uppal, President, Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura welcomed the writers in the meeting.
In the programme Rajveer Singh read out a short story whereas Dr. Monojit and Harjit Singh Uppal read out their articles. A Kavi Darbar was also conducted in which Balwinder Singh Deep, J P Singh Azad, Amar Singh Kuka, Jang S. Verman, Suraj Rattan, M S Kaamra, Harjit Singh Uppal, Bhupinder Singh Raina, Pyasa Anjum, Dr. Nirmal Vinod, Amarjit Kaur Neer, Mukesh Singh Saraaji, Rahi Simbalpuria, Swamy Antarnirav and others recited their poetry on various themes and different genres.
In his address Dr. Monojit appreciated that Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura for organizing quality literary meets. He complimented all the participants for presenting their fine creations.
President, J&K Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura appointed Rajveer Singh as General Secretary og the Sabha. Rajveer Singh woulreplace Balwinder Singh Deep as General Secretary.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Rajveer Singh.
