APS Kaluchak celebrates Annual Sports Day

JAMMU, Feb 16: A colourful cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony marked the magnificent and reverberating Annual Sports Day celebration of Army Public School Kaluchak. Pomp and splendour accorded honour to the theme of the extravaganza, "Udaan" with great exuberance on 15 February ,2020.
The programme was ushered in by march past. A procession of students diligently marching and exhibiting unspoken co-ordination, team work and synchronization, enthralled the audience. Spectacular, impressive, and well synchronized, yoga formations rendered the spectators, speechless and awestruck. Dance exhibiting different sports and Fusion were performed with profuse alacrity.
The event saw the emanation of mammoth enchantment as the students took part enthusiastically in a vast array of programmes viz. Aerobics, Karate and Hula-Hoop etc. The participants put forth their best in Putting and Races thereby proving their dexterity and were instrumental in giving an adrenaline rush to the audience. An astounding visual treat was presented in the form of Bhartiyam. The Annual School Report read by the Principal, Hem Lata Vishen, brought to fore, the achievements of the students of the school and presented the Principal's vision for the progress of the school.
Meritorious students in academics and extra-curricular activities were felicitated. Around 400 Medals and Prizes were awarded to the winners of various events held during the day. The Chief Guest, Brig R K Prusty, Chairman APS Kaluchak ,wholeheartedly applauded the unison of efforts, dedication and participation which fortified the triumph of the function. The day ended in a beautiful resonance with vote of thanks by the Principal of the school, Hem Lata Vishen.
