NPS Mawa Karoda celebrates Annual Day

Jammu, Feb 16: Nehru Public School Mawa Karoda celebrated Annual Day and prize distribution function with pomp and show at Mawa Karoda, here today.
Sham Lal Sharma, Former Minister and BJP leader was the chief guest on occasion, while Baba Chanchal Singh was guest of honour and Sham Singh Langeh,Jasbir Singh Bhau ZPEO was the special guest. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries on the occasion. Parshotam Lal Sharma, Principal Nehru Public School read the annual report, highlighting the achievements of the School.
Students of different classes presented variety of cultural activities. The chief guest distributed prizes among the students on the occasion. While appreciating the growing role of private sector in the field of education, Sharma said healthy competition between schools would ultimately benefit the youngsters and place them in good stead in meeting the challenges of modern times with confidence.
Sharma said that the private schools are playing vital role in education system. With the opening of private schools in the rural areas,it has become all the most convenient for rural children to take advantage of good education imparted by these schools and are able to compete various competitions in the country.
