33rd convocation of IGNOU organized

Jammu, Feb 18: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) organized its 33rd convocation which was organized at IGNOU Maidan Garhi New Delhi Headquarters and simultaneously at the Regional Centres across the Country including Regional Centre at Jammu.
As many as Two Lakh Thirty One Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Three (231573) students have been declared qualified to receive Degrees/Diplomas in the 33rd Convocation across the country which includes 91586 students of Master Degree Programmes, 81395 students of Bachelor Degree programmes, 41257 students of Diploma programmes, 17253 students of Certificate programmes, 79 Ph.d. students and 3 M.Phil studens. All those students who have passed in December 2018 and June 2019 Term-End Examinations were declared eligible to receive their Degree/Diploma certificates in the 33rd convocation.
Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India, was the Chief Guest and delivered convocation address and at the New Delhi Headquarters of IGNOU.
Convocation function at Jammu was held in the Conference Hall of KC Residency, Jammu. Prof. Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, was the Chief Guest on this occasion at Regional Centre Jammu and awarded Degree Certificates to the eligible Learners.
