| GGF president calls on PCCF J&K | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: The Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K President Dr S P Varma today called on Dr Mohit Gera PCCF Jammu & Kashmir and presented him Mahatma Gandhi 150 souvenir for his service to the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr S P Varma discussed at length the work of the organisation in achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the work of GGF in the field of conserving environment since 1990s.
Dr S P Varma said that the same shall be achievable by involving the every person living in the farthest corner in the villages. The rural economy is integral and inseparable from the forest and it's products. To have a strong urban economy shall depend upon a stronger rural economy where 70 percent of population of our country lives.
The PCCF J&K Dr Mohit Gera assured Gandhi Global Family all support in the ecological of the organization. Since 2016, Gandhi Global Family is promoting SDGs in Jammu & Kashmir where as it is promoting the same in 5 more States /UTs of the country. In addition, the organisation is affiliated with United Nations DGC New York as peace organisation.
