Katra, Feb 19: Katra Police solved an attempt to murder case and arrested all the accused within an hour.
Police received an information from reliable sources that some goons attacked one Sunil Sharma resident of Aghar Jitto Tehsil Katra with sharp edge weapon at old Bus stand Katra near main gate of Niharika Bhawan and leaving behind the injured in serious condition.
On this, Katra police swung into action and injured person shifted to CHC Katra for treatment and construed teams, laid Nakas in and around the Katra town to arrest accused persons. During the search, all the four accused persons namely Deepak Kumar, Bablu Sharma, Sanjay Vaid and Rinku Sharma all resident of Reasi were arrested.
“On their discourse one sword, two Dharat and one Toka recovered. On this instant case FIR No.32/2020 U/S 307,147,109 IPC was registered at P/S Katra”, sources said, adding that Deepak Kumar is a hardcore criminal and murder accused in case FIR No. 66/2009 U/S 302/307/341/325/120-B/109/34 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act of Police Station Katra and released after seven years of conviction period. |
