AKHNOOR, Feb 19: Annual Sports Day of Shubh Memorial International School (SMIS) Akhnoor was held today with great Zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The chief guest of the occas ion was SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma.
The programme began with Principal Shilpa Mahajan welcoming the gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports in a child's life.
The chief guest and Principal also took the salute of the impressive march past of the students coupled with some stirring marching music by the band.
The programe was started by the lamp lightening, blossomed hot air balloons in the sky and the commencement of mashal run which signifies the homage to our late champions and sports day at SMIS school is a plat form to showcase the talent and efforts but in by the students to make it a successful event different types of races were organized on the sports day for pre kids carrot race, ball race, lemon race, three leg and race, balance the ballon game, frog race, chocolate race and obstacle race.
More than 250 students participated in the customized fun filled track and field events at the last of the event. |
