JAMMU, Feb 19: Airport Director, Dr. Pravat Ranjan Beuria, Airports Authority of India, Jammu has conducted excursion for the students of Integrity Club on 17.02.2020 and students got a golden opportunity to visit the Golden City of India-Amritsar.
Airports Authority of India, Jammu has set up integrity club in Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School as a 'community Group' consisting of students from 9th to 12th. Besides various other activities with the inspiration of There were 15 students who were accompanied by the school teachers and a tour escort. The students were taken to the Wagah Border. They showed great fascination on reaching the destination and witnessed the beating retreat ceremony there. The visit to Jallianwala Bagh enlightened the students about its historical importance and made their emotions stirred. Finally, the students headed to much awaited destination the Golden Temple, the Harmandir Sahib, also called Darbar Sahib, informally referred to as the holiest Sikh Gurudwara located in the city. |
