JAMMU, Feb 20: One day awareness programme was organized by Civil Defence at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota Jammu.
Under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & UTDRF J&K-Jammu, under the supervision of Dy. SP Behari Lal, I/C Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. During the camp, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, and fire-fighting along with demonstration was given to the 100 NCC Staff members/ Instructors, by the Civil Defence Team.
While speaking on the occasion, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden Jammu & Thakur Ranjeet Singh, Dy. Chief Warden Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also shares their views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during manmade/natural disaster. |
