Ramban police accorded reception to touring students
"Bharat Darshan Tour"

RAMBAN, Feb 20: Bharat Darshan tour flagged in today and the touring students returned back to Ramban after visiting various historical and heritage sites of Delhi and Hyderabad.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban, Haseeb ur Rehman, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Sanjay Parihar, Dy. SP, DAR, Ajay Jamwal, Dy. SP Hqrs, Asgar Malik, Dy. SP, Sumit Sharma and other officers besides students were present during the function.
Pertinent to mention here that under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs, government of India, a tour for 150 students from the district was organized in which students from far flung areas of the district belonging to poor families were selected.
DGP J&K, Dilbagh Singh also interacted with the students at National Police Memorial, Delhi.
The students travelled via Bus, Train and Aeroplane during the tour and best possible food and accommodation was made available to them and they visited Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Chanakyapuri National Police Memorial/Museum, Red Fort, Rajpath and India Gate.
In Hyderabad, the students visited Salarjung Museum, Char Minar, Golconda Fort, Lumbini Park, Hussain Sagar Lake, Central Mall and National Police Academy where they met with Director NPA, Atul Karwal.
On the occasion police organized a reception to welcome touring students at Ramban to know about their experiences of the tour.
The students shared their tour experiences and said that this tour is one of the most memorable event of their life which altogether changed their outlook and now onwards they shall be focusing on their goals in life. Some of them even got motivated for cracking UPSC and serve the country as IAS/IPS officers.
SSP Ramban in his speech wished the students all the best for their future endeavours and promised to organize such events in future as well.
