RAMBAN, Feb 20: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today convened a meeting to review progress of formulation of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) under Mission Antyodaya Survey for holistic development of Panchyats.
BDC, Chairpersons, ADDC, Nawab Din, ACD, Zameer Ahmed Rishu, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, DPO, Sunil Bhutyal, BDOs, CEO, CMO, ADs, Xens of PMGSY, PDD, REW, DFOs, ALC, CHO, CAO and various other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
DDC directed the officers to upload the GPDP plan of their respective department work and project wise on ACTION SOFT application mandatorily in coordination with concerned BDO for its approval.
It was informed in the meeting that 77 scheme launched by government of India shall be implemented under GPDP by the different departments to ensure socio-economic development of rural areas as well as upliftment of weaker sections of society.
RD department was directed to organize training session in this regard for new or left out officers and officials for their capacity building. Officers were also directed to adherer guide lines in letter and spirit issued by the government in this regard.
He directed the officers to ensure proper documentation of land deeds especially donated by the private person(s) for any kind of development work to avoid complicacy in future.
DDC urged the BDC chairpersons to educate the PRIs and general public about the GPDP to ensure successful execution of plan.
