Jammu, Feb 20: JK Montessorie Sen Sec. School celebrated Annual Day on the theme ‘Parivartan Ki Aur’ at Teacher Bhavan Gandhi Nagar ,here today.
Farooq Khan, Advisor to the Lt. Governor J&K ,was the chief Guest of the occasion.I.D Soni , State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides , Devinder Singh Manhas Dy. CEO , Jammu , Rakesh Gupta, District Education Planning Officer, were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Vibodh Gupta, Ex MLC , J &K presided the function. Chairman of the school. Sanjeev Gupta and Academic director Rajni Gupta & Principals of different prestigious schools of the city were also present .
The Programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by Ganesh Vandana by the students of the class 6th. The students presented a variety of cultural items which enthralled the entire audience on the occasion.
The chief guest distributed the prizes among meritorious students who have excelled in academics & various competitions held at school level, District level & National Level .
Earlier the gathering was welcomed & greeted warmly by Geeta Dixit Principal of the school who highlighted the achievements & success story of the school in her annual report.
The vote of thanks was presented by Sutinder Kour and the programme culiminated with National Anthem. |
