Jammu, Feb 20: The final round of Sate yoga competition was organized by Yoga society J&K - Patanjali Yogpeeth at Gymanisum Hall of Jammu University.
The Ist -rank winners selected for State level Yoga competition are four from Individual categories.
The individual names are Soumya from BBSVP School Udhampur Jr girls , Shahzaib - Amba Kids Jr. boys, Chest No 14–Sr Girls , Nikhil Sharma - Reasi - Sr. Boys. Four groups who stood first from Group performance Category are - Jr. Boys from MV International School , Sr Boys – Jammu University , Jr. Girls – Amba Kids Panthal Reasi, Sr. Girls – Jammu university . All these winners have qualified for National level competition entry to be held Tal Katora New Delhi in April 2020. The traditional lamp was lit by – Prof. Keshav Sharma - Dean, Academic Affairs, University of Jammu, who was the Chief Guest where as Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Municipal Corporation Jammu, was the Guest of Honour.
Core Committee Members for the event were - Bansi lal , Sudha Chander ,Dr Shreyansh Jain, Anil Swaraj, Darshana Sharma, Sushil Sharma, Meenakshi Bhat and Rajni Saini Raj Guru, Dheeraj Rakwal, Aditya ,Yash Pal ,Yog raj Khajuria, Dev Yog Raj.
