Poonch(Mandi), Feb 21: The Tehsil administrative apathy of the Power Development Department can be gauged from the fact the resident of Mohalla Sheikha Rajpura of Block Mandi are reeling under darkness for the last 1 month and above as the transformer of the village is out of order.
The village is comprised of habitat of about 300 above people forced to the residents spent their nights in dark. Imtaiza sheikh said that a deputation from the Mohalla sheikha rajpura also met AEE, PDD, Sub-Division, Mandi, and apprised him about the issue.
The residental said that the area has been reeling under complete darkness for the last 1 month and above as the feeding 63kv transformer had damaged, which the Power Development Department (PDD) failed to repair or replace despite repeated requests and reminders by the said area .Meanwhile Manzoor sheikh, said that power plays hide and seek from 1 month and above .
Residents alleged that hundreds of rupees paid through JK Bank as a electric bill payment every month by the poor people of the sheikh mohalla Rajpura left Unfortunate PDD had been failed to restore the power.
The Local of the area requested the DDC Poonch Rahul yadav (IAS) to issue orders to the concerned officials pdd to restore power supply in the area. |
