SAMBA, Feb 22: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Samba Rohit Khajuria today visited block Samba and inspected the ongoing works executed by the department of Rural Development, under Back to Village (B2V) Programme. The DDC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman, Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kaur, Block Development Officer, Samba and other concerned officers.
During the tour, DDC visited Panchayat Supwal, Chajjwal and other nearby villages and inspected the renovation work of Ponds and other development works executed by Rural Development Department under Back to village programme.
The DDC, laid emphasis upon expediting the development works besides maintaining the quality aspect. He directed ACD Samba to ensure that all the ongoing development works are completed within time frame.
