| Placed on ground, PDD transformer poses threat | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 22: The Power Development Department (PDD) is reportedly in deep slumber as the power transformer placed on ground is posing serious threat to the lives of people in village Muradpur.
The local resident of the area Suresh Kumar lambasted the concerned department for their casual approach regarding the transformer, which could prove fatal for locals.
The area, where the transformer is installed is frequently visited by people of the locality as it is located in the nodal point of pathway of another locality.
Ghulam Hussain said that the villagers had raised the matter several times to the concerned officials but all in vain.
Despite repeated calls to Executive Engineer PDD he didn't pick up the phone. People in general have appealed to Deputy Commissioner Rajouri for his intervention. |
