SRO-202 employees’ delegation call on BJP state president
2/22/2020 9:42:48 PM
Early Times REport

Jammu, Feb 22: A delegation of All Jammu & Kashmir Govt. Employees (recruited under SRO-202) today called on BJP state president Ravinder Raina. Led by President Dr. Shafeen Koul the employees apprised Raina about injustice perpetuated on them by enforcing the service condition prescribed by SRO-202.
They submitted a memorandum to Raina seeking revocation SRO-202 of 2015 and for release of annual increments from the date of first appointment like other normal employees. They narrated the injustice perpetuated by the SRO-202 which prescribes only a consolidated pay to the appointees under the said SRO. The said appointees are denied all allowances including dearness allowance, house rent allowance, CCA allowance etc. They are also not paid annual increments which normally a government employee earns each year. The said SRO prescribes continuation of this draconian regime of denial of all allowances for five years after their initial appointment.
Apart from this injustice being done to the members of the federation, invariably they are given hard posting and have to remain there for five year. They requested that the draconian SRO-202 should be revoked and JKSSB and JKPSC should also hence force issued the list of selected candidates for various posts within a short period of three months and not linger the selection for years together.
Ravinder Raina gave a patient hearing to the members of the deputation and informed them that he has already taken up this burning issue with the LG and union territory administration.
The learned LG G.C. Murmu has taken up this issue for consideration and the matter is being actively perused. Raina further stated that he is confident that some ameliorative alterations will be made in the said SRO.
