National Tribal Youth exchange programme underway

Jammu, Feb 22: The Govt. Of India Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jammu is organizing a 7-days 12th National Level Tribal Youth Exchange Programme from 18th Feb 2020 to 24th Feb 2020 at Youth Hostel, Nagrota in which 220 participants and contingent leaders from different states & districts of Jharkhand and Odisha are participating.
During the programme, different activities will be organized like visit of Bagha border, Golden Temple Amritsar, Tree Plantation programme, cultural competition or Declamation contest, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat activities, language learning, instructive with dignities etc.
The Cultural competition was held on dated 21st Feb 2020 at Youth Hostel, Nagrota, Jammu. In the Competition Sh. Bikram S. Gill State Director Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jammu. S.S Bedi Deputy Director NYKS Jammu was the honourable guest. In the competition 200 participants were participated and there were 22 escorts leaders.
During the programme, cultural activities were performed by the participants of different districts of Jharkhand and Odisha which was very enjoyable and appreciated by the audience. In which they had presented their culture through cultural dance and solo dance. In the end the winner were announced and the participants from the Lohardaga district was 1st and Simdega were on 2nd place and Odisha were 3rd.
In the end, Nissar Ahmed Bhatt, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu pay a vote of thanks to all the participants, volunteers and staff of NYKS J&K. He said that to organize this programme, state and district administration helps alot. He also pay special thanks to the incharge of the different teams. To make the programme successful also contributed their valuable services.
