Intra- Zone Cricket Men tournament organized

Jammu, Feb 22: The 1st match of day 4th of Intra- Zone (A) Cricket Men tournament of 1st Sports Festival 2020 organised by the department of Higher Education, J&K Government was in schedule between GDC Ramgarh and GDC Paloura in M.A. Stadium on Saturday. Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu and Physical Director GGM Science College graced the occasion. GDC Paloura got walkover against GDC Ramgarh because GDC Ramgarh did not report on ground. The 2nd match was played between GGM Science College and GDC Vijaypur. GGM Science College won the toss and elected to Bat first and score 146 runs for 02 wickets in 15 overs and GDC Vijaypur was all out on 25 runs in 10.2 overs. Like this GGM Science College won the match by 121 runs. Ashan Mir and Nitish of GGM Science College score 72 and 27 runs respectively. Salman Mir took 03 wickets, Abid and Amjad took two wickets each for the winning team.
Prof. Sham Singh Kotwal, Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director GDC Ramban, Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Science College, Darshan Singh and Karan were present on the occasion. The Matches were officiated by Suresh Singh, Ashok Singh, Vijay Kumar and Sadiq Hussain.
