| Transformer burnt, Uchhad Nabna Upper without power | | |

Mendhar, Feb 23: With the burning of transformer in Uchhad Nabna Upper in Mendhar area of Poonch district the residents of the area are without power for the last many days.
People of the area who are facing lot of difficulties due to no light during these days when their children are taking examinations, are repeatedly approaching the senior PDD officers but to no avail.
The local residents said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the roads etc.
They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Poonch to issue suitable instructions to the concerned officers at Uchhad Nabna to immediately replace the burnt transformer and provide light to the consumers. |
