One day long Junior Wrestling C'ship held

JAMMU, Feb. 23: J&K Wrestling Association have conducted one day long Junior J&K UT Wrestling Championship-2020 at Wrestling Hall University of Jammu under the auspices of Wrestling Federation of India. J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association in collaboration with Jammu University. Ajay Vaid, Hony. General Secretary J&K Wrestling Association, Raju Sharma. Treasurer J&K Wrestling Association, Dheeraj Sharma. Jai Bharat, Vijay Pahalwan, Swaran Lai Raj Kumar. Ravinder Kumar. Shan-ul-Bashir and Sahil Sharma were also present on the occasion. 50 Wrestlers ( both boys and girls) in Junior Age Category of Different Districts of J&K have participated. All the winners in the championship will take part in the forthcoming 39th Boys Free Style. Greco Roman Style & 22nd Women Junior National Wrestling Championship which is being scheduled to be held at Mandi (HP) from 4th to 6th of March 2020. The Winners are:- GIRLS :- Mosmee Choudhary 50 KG Gold. Vishali Devi 65 KG Gold and Vishali Devi 72 KG Gold. BOYS:-1. 57 KG Weight Category Keshav Singh Gold. Jatinder Kumar Silver and Surya Udhay Pratap Singh Bronze. 2. 61 KG Weight Category Rahul Mehra Gold. Mangal Singh Silver and Sumit Gangla Bronze. 3. 65 KG Weight Category lqbal Mohd. Gold and Ravi Kumar Silver Medal. 4. 70 KG Weight Category Yuvraj Singh Gold. Neel Kamal Singh Silver and Mohd.
