GDC to host another International Conference

Udhampur, Feb 23: The eminent personalities who have made landmark contribution in the field of water Conversation will be speaking in the International Conference being organized by Government Degree College Udhampur from February 29, 2020.
This was stated by the Organizing Secretaries of the Conference Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra and Prof. Shaji Khan. While interacting with media persons, Prof. Dogra and Prof. Khan said that highly acclaimed dignitaries who have contributed in the field of water conservation have very kindly agreed to join us in this Conference titled ‘Sanrakshan’.
Elaborating, they said that the star speakers include Padmashree C. Norphel, the Glacier Man of Indian; Padmashree R.K. Sinha Dolphin Man; Sonam Lotus; Weather Man; Prof. S.P.S Dutta, Professor Emeritus, Shyam Sunder Paliwal, the Water Man of India and also eminent environmentalist; Pardeep Dutta, Bureau Chief Times Now; Sonan Waugchuk among others.
Speaking to the media persons, the two professors of Degree College Udhampur said that conversation of water is a World concern.
There is now no doubt to the statement that the next war will be fought for water. And if water is not saved from this moment onwards, we shall be forced to see what we fear to ever imagine.
Saving water as a mission, the ever progressing Govt. Degree College Udhampur has taken the initiative of organizing this International Conference to give a clear and unambiguous message to save every drop of water. The slogan of this Conference is: “if we are able to save one glass of water per family per month, even then we will be contributing a lot for the survival of Mother Nature”, the organizing Secretaries added.
