Jammu, Feb 24: Jammu & Kashmir Olympic Association and its affiliated units, office bearers and whole of sports fraternity felicitated Narinder Dhruv Batra (Son of Soil) most dedicating sports administrator in the world being member of International Olympic Committee, President Federation International Hockey and Indian Olympic Association which is really a honour for Jammu & Kashmir U.T for which everybody feels proud of him. Credit goes to Batra who achieved this real honour through hard work dedication and sincerity. Batra started his career as a Hockey Player and represented J&K Schools, Representing various Junior & Senior National Hockey Championship, All India Schools and All India Universities. Slowly and gradually he became renowned figure not only of India but of international level also. He has solved enormous problems related to sports in India and abroad. J&K Olympic Association, its office bearers and sports fraternity wished him wisdom, success for his all future endeavours.
A glittering ceremony held at Jammu Club was attended by Sports dignitaries, office bearers of Jammu & Kashmir Sports associations of different games and events Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation and Ashok Khajuria former President BJP J&K & Former MLA, president and secretaries of J&K Sports Association and number of Sports lovers also graced the function and wished Mr. Batra for success in life. The other dignitaries who attended the meeting include Shri Dushyant Sharma SSP Staff Officer (Sports) ADGP Armed J&K. Besides, Secretaries and Treasures of J&K Olympic Association and National Sports Federation, outstanding coaches and players also made their presence felt in the function.
