| Govt Hospital Jagti sans facilities | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 24:Notwithstanding with the tall claims of Health Department that procurement of medicines and other facilities are being provided to health institutions in Jammu region yet Govt Hospital Jagti seems to have been ignored at every front by the authorities. "We are not being given even a single paracetamol tablet here neither there is any disposable syringe available for an injection to a patient here in this hospital " said an elderly man in annoyment who had come hospital for treatment, adding "I have had to go thrice to a medical shop for purchasing petty things which otherwise remain available in small health centres even but this hospital is empty in all respects"he added It is pertinent to mention that Govt Hospital Jagti is a 40-bedded hospital constructed in the Kashmiri migrant camp Jagti for the inhabitants of the camp besides a large number of patients from local populace also throng this hospital but due to lack of infrastructure and non availability of facilities which include clinical tests,XRays,CT Scanning besides medicines and so on.
Locals have appealed to administration of J&K union territory to take stock of the problems being confronted by by the people at Govt Hospital Jagti .
