RAMBAN, Feb 24: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Ramban, Nawab Din, inspected various works being executed by the Rural Development Department (RDD) in panchayat Govindpora Maitra-A and major works in village Failty of Block Ramban, here today.
ADDC expressed his satisfaction over the construction of Pacca-Path from District Nallah to Failty, constructed with an expenditure of 2 lacs under MGNREGA during financial year 2019-20.However, he expressed displeasure for using substandard material and poor quality for construction of WCD from Jeevan Mohallah to Nallah under 14th FC.
To protect the Mohallah (area) from the soil erosion during heavy rain falls, ADDC has recommended the construction of drain under 14th FC immediately at Sarpanch Mohallah Failty. Besides this, the ADDC also inspected other works and directed RDD to consider Mohd Afzal and Jamal Din for the construction of houses under PMAY, as their houses are in depleted condition, quite kachha and unsafe. |
