PoK’s liberation will end terrorism in subcontinent
2/24/2020 11:44:35 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Feb 24: National general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Ram Madhav, has once again spoken about liberating Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to fulfill the dream of Akhand Bharat.
He recently stated that the next step after J&K’s reorganization is getting back PoK, which is under the illegal occupation of Pakistan for the past seven decades.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “Many people across the country were hoping that PoK will be liberated soon after J&K’s reorganization. But it didn’t happen.”
He said that if the Government of India is really serious about wiping out terrorism from the
subcontinent then it will have to take a “final call over the PoK issue.”
“Everyone is aware of the fact that the PoK has turned into a den for terrorists and Pakistan is using all its resources to manufacture terrorists and fidayeen in the PoK. The terror infrastructure and camps are intact there. These camps have to be destroyed and Pakistan Army pushed out of the PoK for terrorism to stop,” the analyst added.
A defence analyst said, “Pakistan Army cannot match the strength and skills of Indian Army in the conventional warfare. It can only fight a proxy war with PoK as its base.”
Referring to the statement of Army Chief General Narvane, that Army is ready to liberate PoK if the GoI and the Parliament give their nod for the same, the analyst said, “Since the day JeM suicide bomber killed 40 paramilitary CRPF jawans in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district in February last year the troops are in state of preparedness and have been awaiting marching orders.”
An observer said that the BJP senior leaders know it very well that people across the country are becoming restless. “People want that Pakistan should be punished for bleeding India and for poking its nose into the internal affairs of their country.
Memories of Pakistan sponsored terror attacks during the past one decade in different parts of the country are fresh in the minds of people. They have not forgotten Mumbai attack, which was carried out by the LeT terrorists, who were backed by the internationally recognized terrorist Hafiz Saeed,” the observer added.
He said, “The BJP led government at the Centre needs to take the war against terror to its logical end by asking the troops to trample the LoC and retrieve the PoK, which Pakistan has been using to export terror into this side.”
“BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav has once again raised the PoK issue and has upped the ante. It seems that something is on the cards,” the observer added.
