Nursing College Baramulla to start B.Sc Nursing Course soon

JAMMU, Feb 26: Nursing College of Government Medical College Baramulla today secured NOC / Affiliation from University of Kashmir for starting B.Sc Nursing Course with Intake Capacity of 30 Seats for the Session 2020-21.
The J&K Paramedical - Nursing Council has already affiliated the said college for the session 2020-21.
Financial Commissioner, Atal Dulloo, congratulated Principal, Government Medical College, Baramulla and the team of J&K Paramedical Council for the achievement.
He further said the Government has initiated the process of starting B.Sc. Nursing Colleges in different districts and the process of securing Affiliation from competent authorities is going on.
In this regard, he further said that the Government Nursing College, Gangyal has already secured affiliation for starting B.Sc. Nursing Course and the first batch with Intake Capacity of 67 Admissions has already started.
Nodal Officer Nursing Colleges, Dr Sandeep Singh, stated that the J&K Paramedical / Nursing Council, under the Presidentship of Dr Sunanda Raina, is putting all its efforts to start the B.Sc. Nursing Colleges in various other districts.
He further said that the Council, on the directions of Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department, has already undertaken task of starting Post Basic Diploma Nursing Courses in Government Medical College Jammu and Srinagar.
