| CB Jammu registers FIR against fraudster | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Mar 17: Crime Branch Jammu has registered FIR against Kanwar Deep Sahni @ K.D Sahni, S/O Harveer Sahni R/o C/O Weldon Cello Plast Ltd. 304, 3rd Floor, 9/2 East Patel Nagar, New Delhi for cheating & fraud and misappropriation of Rs.20.00 Lac of the complainant by unlawful & fraudulent means.
Complainant Raj Kunwar Singh Dua S/O Bopinder Singh Dua R/O 20/02 Nanak Nagar, Jammu had lodged a written complaint in Crime Branch Jammu alleging therein that accused namely Kanwar Deep Sahni who is Managing Director of Weldon Cello Plast Ltd. and also deals in machinery relating to Printing and its ancillary Machinery. He is also an authorized representative in India of OMET SRL Company situated at Lecco Italy which deals in the printing machines. Said accused person approached the complainant being representative of OMET SRL, Lecco Italian Company and assured him that he would arrange the required machinery manufactured by the aforesaid company in case the security deposit is given to the accused for purchasing the said machinery. The complainant after believing the assurances of the accused person had transferred an amount of Rs. 5.00 lacs through his bank account as a security deposit. Thereafter, aforesaid deal was made at Jammu and while finalization of deal, accused was requested to return the above said security deposit, but instead of doing so, the accused gave another proposal to the complainant being an authorized agent of Brotech Company of China and persuaded him that he will arrange another machinery of the said company and tentative cost of the said machine is Rs.24.00 lacs. Complainant, further deposited Rs.15.00 lacs in the account of said accused through various transactions for purchase of Brotech company machine and machines like Plate Mounter, ANILOX cleaning machine etc. |
