Jammu, Mar 24: Welfare Society Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu appealed to the general public to stay at homes and to avoid unnecessary roaming around. Balwinder Singh Rinku President said that isolation is the best possible way to defeat the spread of this Corona Virus. A.S.Khera. Advocate Chairman said that although Jammu is fortunate to have less number of cases reported till date but we must understand that it takes one to two weeks for the symptoms of the disease to appear and in the meantime the affected person can transmit the disease to other healthy person so isolation is the best remedy to save ourselves and others. The Society also appreciated the efforts of the Health department in raising the infrastructure at GMC Jammu to combat the pandemic situation. It has been noticed and complained by the members of the society that Nanak Nagar Jammu has been ignored by the Jammu Municipal corporation in sanitation work. |
