Students arrived from Bangladesh put into home isolation

Jammu, Mar 25: The people in Chenab valley viz Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban District today confined themselves in homes as a part of Prime Minister appeal to observe Janta Curfew with an aim break the Corona Virus jinx in larger area as it was believed that the life of the Virus ranged from few hours to 14 hours on various platforms viz steel handles, cardboards, cloths and other items.
As per the details available with Early Times, the people in entire Chenab belt having the population of around 11 lakhs prefer to stay inside and the major roads and markets have deserted look with even essential services including medical shops remain closed in the area.
Today’s Curfew is the first in the history implemented on the ground without any security personals on ground. The Corona Virus also put break in rural areas of Chenab belt viz Marwah, Warwan, Padder, Bharat, Gundow, Bhunzwah , Marmat , Kastogarh, Gool, Arnas, Neel, Chamalwas and other far flung areas of Chenab belt had followed the Janta Curfew even though these areas had mostly no big markets. While at the same time , District Administration in Kishtwar in collaboration with Kishtwar Municipal Council continues its fumigation and spray drive in various of areas of Kishtwar town.Speaking to Early Times, President MC Kishtwar Raiz Ahmed Zarger said that the Janta Curfew had help them lot today to carry out disinfection drive in various areas of the Kishtwar town.
Meanwhile three MBBS students who had been studying medical in Bangladesh and had arrived in Kishtwar had been put under home quarantine.
A senior official in health department told the Early Times that all the three students are normal and had no symptoms added that but they were advice to follow the guidelines and stay inside home quarantine. The officials in District administration told the Early Times that all the students who are in way to Home from Bangladesh or studying in any other foreign country are being traced added that some of them had been identified and as and when they reach Kishtwar— they will be put on track.
