Jammu, Mar 25: As a part of initiative "WE CARE FOR YOU" under supervision of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil, Nagrota police came forward to provide food and ration items to daily wagers, homeless and other needy people affected by the lockdown imposed in the area in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
Police teams of subdivision Nagrota led by SDPO Nagrota Mohan Sharma and IC PP Sidhra Zaheer Mushtaq under supervision of SP Rural Suram Singh today distributed food packets and ration items to homeless and needy people in nagrota and Sidhra area.
Police reached out to people affected by the lockdown, especially daily wagers, and provided them food and ration items as a part of initiatives for the poor, whose livelihoods have been hit due to the lockdown.
Police has appealled to everyone to stay at home understanding the seriousness of the situation. We need to inculcate a culture of co-operation and obedience to the guidelines as provided by government and not to come out of homes unless there is an emergency. |
