3/27/2020 8:29:44 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 27: National Panthers Party (NPP) supremo Prof. Bhim singh has urged upon Prime Minister to ensure safe return of stranded people across various states.
"It is shocking that many of those Young & Old who wish to return back to their homes from different cities (towns) in India say Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Meerut, Jaipur and other places for their safety from the horror of Coronavirus.
Several social activists, media persons and even silent quarters are pouring urges and appeals to the President & Prime Minister of India urging them to take immediate measures to provide adequate transport/communication to those who are suffering on the roads with a cry to reach their homes because entire transportation including Trains, Buses and all other means of transport have been stopped by the order of the Prime Minister. There is an outcry from the roads, streets, wilderness and all from the suffering people on the roads trying to walk to their homes, they are planning to reach in the North, South-East and within the provinces they have been working as daily wagers. They have lost jobs, work, not even inch of space to live and save their children, NPP Supremo Prof. Bhim Singh said.
The President is urged to intervene call an urgent meeting of National Integration Council (to be constituted) and involve the entire Nation to ensure safety, physical survival and security of hundreds of millions helpless citizens who have no source to even reach their homes because Lockdown was declared at 8.00 pm directing and implemented by midnight (12'o clock). There is an urgent need to provide reasonable opportunity to all those, may be daily wagers jobless or job seekers to return to their homes. The President of India is the only authority in the country who can advice the Prime Minister in this regard".
The appeal was made by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party to the President of India. He said that this was the voice/cry from different corners of the country by the political & social activists/media persons/ the people being lathicharged and beaten on the streets of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, North-East, the students and youth leaders of the closed Universities and all which Bhim Singh says he has an opportunity to convey it to the helpless millions in the country with a hope that the suppressed media shall show courage to convey this urge to the men in power in India and in the rest of the world.
