NGOs, volunteers helping Banihal Admin to spread COVID 19 awareness

Banihal, Mar 27: In order to reach out to the people, the local NGOs including Red Cross along with group of volunteers in Banihal area of Ramban District situted on most vulnerable Jammu-Srinagar National Highway are helping the administration in spreading the message and awareness among the people.
As per the details available with Early Times, their is confusion over coronavirus among the people as different orders were issued by the government wherein people were suggested to take various precautionary measures to prevent spread of the virus that include people are being urged to stay at home so as to avoid the contact with the virus— but despite that several people were seen ignoring the guidelines which has become a major headache for the authorities.
To overcome with the issue of launching major awareness among the masses, the NGOs and the volunteers had launched mass scale awareness campaign in different areas of Banihal by making announcements through loudspeakers informing the people about the ill effects of the COVID 19 and its preventions.
These NGOs also inform the people about various officials who had been appointed as nodal officers to cater the need of the people when there is total lockdown in the entire area that ranges from delivering of essential commodities and medicines.
The NGOs and volunteers from the very first day in Banihal areplaying a vital role in mobilizing with the administration who with their money, provided the vehicles to the needy people.
They also shift several people to the hospital and get them examined and termed the situation as ongoing war against the Coronavirus which people should fight unitedly.
