RAMBAN, Mar 27: District Magistrate, Nazim Zai Khan today said that district administration is all set to tackle Corona outbreak and all senior officers are monitoring the Corona virus infection cases in district.
He said that administration is tracking all the persons with travel history of other states as well as abroad and in contact with confirmed patients in coordination with other district administrations.
Identified persons are placed under home quarantine, administrative quarantine and Isolation wards at different places in the district according to their condition, he added.
He said that Isolation wards have also been established by the administration in DH Ramban and all Medical Blocks besides establishing a quarantine centre in various government buildings and hotels at Ramban, Banihal, Batote and Gool.
He further said that the district administration has put in place a mechanism to ensure uninterrupted supplies of essential commodities and services to the general public. He appreciated the people of the district for implementing lockdown effectively, besides maintaining social distancing by avoiding social gatherings on the eve of Navratri, Shab-e-Miraj and Friday prayer. DM appealed to the general public to cooperate with the administration and ensure strict adherence to the order.
He directed concerned agencies to ensure strict implementation of lockdown and take strict action against violators.
