Academic activity to continue On-line in SKUAST of Jammu

Jammu, March 27: In the wake of national concern due to Carona Virus Pandemic and broader interest of academics, Prof (Dr) R.K. Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) of Jammu urged all Deans of the University to ensure that teaching started through On-line mode after suspension of normal UG/PG teaching (vide University Circular bearing No. AUJ/Secy./19-20/ 830-46 dated: 12-03-2020), do not suffer during three week Lockdown period. Further, all Deans should remain in touch with their respective Head of Divisions. The Head of Divisions shall periodically monitor online engagement of faculty with students through various digital modes/platforms in best interest of academics despite un-avoidable disruptions.
All teaching / non-teaching staff and students shall show strict compliance to the orders issued in this regard by the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and Government of Jammu & Kashmir from time to time and latest vide No. DCJ/PS/2019-20/12-24-1229 dated 25-03-2020, Government Order No. 421-JK(GAD) of 2020 Dated : 25-03-2020 respectively, besides guidelines issued by others from time to time.
