| Drug peddler arrested in Sunderbani | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Mar 28: The Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri arrested a man who was found carrying a consignment of narcotics powder in Sunderbani area of the district. Additional SP Nowshera Girdhari Lal Sharma said that a team of police headed by Station House Officer Sunderbani Sanjeev Slathia was on routine patrolling in the area to enforce lockdown restrictions when a man was see walking along road who entered roadside locality soon after noticing police patrolling party. AdSP Nowshera said that soon after such an act of the said man, cops on duty developed suspicion and chased the man who was detained and during physical frisking, a consignment of 133.88 grams of charas like substance was recovered from his possession.
Accused identified as Shazad Qureshi son of Mohammad Fazal Qureshi resident of Saaj Thanamandi have been arrested. A case FIR No 37/20 under sections 8/20 NDPS have been registered in Sunderbani police station. |
