JAMMU, Mar 28: Kranti Dal President Pritam Sharma asked the J&K police to crackdown drugs peddlers and mafias during Lockdown periods. During Lockdown periods most of drugs peddlers try to move other states to escape from police but police only beating them. There is need to investigate strictly who are moving outside the JK boundaries . Most of them are involved in drugs and due to Lockdown they are not getting drugs.
Sharma asked the police to crackdown such drugs peddlers and mafias who push our youth into this nexus. Drug abuse is a chronic disease. This condition involves the use and abuse of drugs despite harmful consequences. One consequence of drug abuse is addiction. The drug menace is at an alarming stage and day by day it is consuming our young buds. students are increasingly becoming habitual of taking drugs and then spread to others, when they go to colleges." Sharma also asked administration to make proper arrangements of food and shelters for those who are homeless and remain hungry during Lockdown. |
