GS Sports Club extends help to police in providing relief among poor

Jammu, Mar 29: Continuing to reach to really needy and poor section of the society Bishnah Police continued with its We-Care Programme conceptualized by SSP Jammu, Shridhar Patil.
SP Hqr Jammu Adil Hamid and SDPO RS PURA Bishnah Shabir Khan along with SHOs of Police station Bishnah during a daylong programme today toured different slum areas and distributed food and grocery items to the needy. It is pertinent to mention that Bishnah Police has recently launched its "home delivery" system wherein essential commodities are being delivered to home to APL section of society. " Earlier we thought that they must not come out of their homes to minimise social distancing in concern with COVID-19 virus, now we thought to cover those who can't afford the basic commodities for life. We reached out to them to feed them, to make them comfortable in these stress full days", said a senior official. Dr Karan Baghat ,Er Sushant Gupta Chairman G.S Sports club and their groups of volunteers joined Police to take the responsibility of stakeholders for socialising the masses to follow the SOPs against corona virus.
