| Need to think globally towards global issues | | | Shyam Sudan
The advancement in science and technology has changed the life style of every individual on this planet. Now in this digital era it seems that we are living a global village which has its common suffering and pleasures.Every nation of the world is now interconnected with each other for its necessities and self existence. No nation of the world can think about its progress and prosperity by ignoring the concerns of other nations.For our needs and demands we depend on each other. The formation of United nations after the second world war is the testimony of above mentioned fact. Now in this global era there are lot of our common issues and problems which must be addressed on global platform. No doubt there are lot of agencies of United nations which are working for these common issues in a collaborative way.But some more efforts are needed to address these issues on global platform by these agencies only with the collaborative efforts of all we can solve our trivial issues of common concerns.
At present the entire world is suffering from the havoc of global warming. And it’s impact can be seen everywhere on the globe. Every nation of the world is facing various kinds of hardships of life due to the impact of global warming. But despite of various ill impact of global warming till many countries of the world are not paying any heed towards this common problem of all.Many nations of the world are not fighting with this global problem with their sincere approach and commitment. These nations are still giving priorities to their personal interest and pleasure and continuously ignoring this global problem. No doubt every year lot of international summits and conferences highlights these issues on global platform. But on ground level the picture is totally different and reverse .Every nation is giving priorities for its wealth and prosperity. But gradually the man is decaying due to his greed of accumulation of wealth .Similarly on the issue of terrorism the approach of all the nation’s are not of same nature and concerns.some nation of the world takes the advantage of this terrorism for their personal interest. And they justify their statement by saying that it is a good terrorism and is beneficial for their existence and development. They adopted this as their state policy against their enemies and neighbours.such thing can create problem and hindrance for other nations of the world. We must remember this fact in mind that terrorism has no religion and we can’t categorize it into good or bad. A unanimous approach is needed to fight against this issue.All the nation’s of the world must understand this and help others to eradicate this menace from our globe.
Recently the covid 19 pandemic has changed the entire scenario of life in different nations of the world.All the nation’s of the world are fighting against this man made devastation at their own level. However in recently held G20 conference some measures were suggested by different nations against this pandemic. But previously when this viral infection was started at Wuhan in China,then China hides the actual facts and information for this .As a consequence of which now the entire world is suffering from this viral infection.Hundreds of people has lot their precious life without any mistake. A mistake and ignorant approach of one nation has changed the entire scenario of the world.There are lot of other global issues which needed a common consensus and approach. Other issues like cross border terrorism, drug smuggling, human trafficking, cyber crime, migration of people etc must be addressed on global platform with a more postive tone. We must keep in mind that we are the only sensible creatures in this universe. There is no support and hope for us from outside our planet. And we can’t win from others by demeaning and ignoring the existence of our neighbouring nations. Advanced and developed nations of the world must understand the problems and issues of other underdeveloped countries. The idealogy of might is right has no place in this modern and civilized society. All have to work in coordination to solve our common global issues. No nation of the world can prosper in a isolated manner if we give priorities to our own interests then a race for materialistic run can begins on global scenario.our flaccid and soft approach towards these global issues can not change the scenario in our favour our erroneous and self centric mentality will not give any plausible solution to these global problems. Any kind of diabolical idealogy has no place in this modern and civilized society. It is the need of the hour to think for global issues with more refined strategy and commitment. Only then we can save our planet for our coming generations.otherwise our personal hatred,envy and disputes can make this beautiful planet a hell for our living. In this global village it is the responsibility of every nation to think and act for the betterment of all and for this living planet. Everyone has to take the responsibility towards these global issues. By our joint efforts and collaboration we can solve the various conundrum of our life.Because we are the custodians of our beautiful planet. Global issues, disputes and suffering can not be solved by our passive and guest approach.only our sincere and committed approach can change the condition in our favour. Because there is common saying that United we rise and divided we fall. |
