Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 30: All J&K +2 PSC Lecturer’s Association hailed the decision taken by the department and as tweeted by Principal Secretary Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon wherein all the Gazetted teachers of the department will donate 2 Day’s Salary and NG teachers one day salary to Covid-19 Mitigation Fund.
The Association had already proposed and made its intentions clear to provide each and every help whether financial or other to the UT administration for mitigation of this pandemic crisis that has claimed thousands of lives across the globe, the J&K being no exception which has already lost two lives and hundreds are in quarantine. Also the Lecturers recruited under Special Recruitment Rules 2015(SRO-202) have desired to donate their medical allowance in addition two days salary for the benefit of desiring and needy people. The Association is ready to provide financial help in future also till the prevailing crises are over. Pertinent to mention that hundreds of our cadres are presently working with the administration as Covid-19 Nodal Officers, with Surveillance Teams and as Duty Magistrates to help the Administration and the general public in these crisis and testing times and it is our resolve to stand with the people in every moment. To mitigate the sufferings of the student community and to compensate their academic loss, the Association has created a YouTube Channel “THE LECTURERS ASSOCIATION” to provide free subject specific lectures and other study material for class 11th and 12th students and other technological means to engage the students in a fruitful and student friendly manner. The students are humbly requested to take benefits of veteran teachers.
