3/30/2020 9:48:22 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 30: Media Coordinator and Member Media Coordination Committee PCC ( JK UT Committee), Kapil Singh has termed the fight against Covid 19 a major challenge and urged on government to take strong measures but also ensure that poor people especially migrant workers are taken care off.
In a statement, Singh has said questioned the response of the central government and said that Indian government was late in making steps to prevent the spread of virus. He Said that scenes of migrant workers in New Delhi is frightening. Thousands of people are on roads. This shows the mismanagement on part of government. ‘We did not take safety measure while evacuating people from abroad and not isolated them. Union govt. did not carry out checks properly at airport and did not isolate lakhs of people who came from abroad in different states. now the administration of all states is searching them door to door’, he said. Kapil Singh said former president of INC Rahul Gandhi had already warned the govt. and expressed serious concern over the issue but the union govt. took this advice for putting at stake future of whole country, people and economy.
Hailing the financial package announced by union govt, congress leader said that it should be implemented to the needy people with immediate effect.. ‘apart from these measures adequate material like sanitizers and masks must be provided to doctors and those involved in essential services’.
